25-26 GHS Action Plan

Family – School Action Plan

2025-2026

Goal 1: Groves High School will increase student performance at the proficient level and above by 3% based on the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 GMAS data, as measured by the Algebra I (Algebra I: Concepts and Connections) GMAS EOC assessment.

Goal 2: Groves will increase students' academic performance at the proficient level and above by 3% as measured by the Literature and Composition GMAS EOC assessment administered in the Fall of 2024 and the Spring of 2025.

Supporting Objectives Related to Family Engagement: (minimum of three)

  1. Foster opportunities for families and community members to actively support the academic success of Groves High School students.

  1. The Groves High School Family & Community Relations Specialist (FCRS) will assist in engaging with families and community members, organizing parent and community engagement events, activities and workshops, and support families through school and community services.

  1. The Groves High School Administration will provide additional parent workshops based on the results of the Title I Annual Family Forum, surveyed interests, and needs.

Results: Positive feedback from families and increased attendance at parent workshops based on survey results will indicate effective engagement. Ultimately, these efforts should support improved student academic outcomes aligned with the proficiency goals.

In summary, success looks like measurable growth in student proficiency on key assessments alongside strong, meaningful family involvement supporting student achievement.
