Saturday Academy Provides Academic Support and Attendance Recovery Opportunities
Robert W. Groves High School is pleased to offer Saturday Academy throughout the 2026–2027 school year. Saturday Academy provides students with additional time to complete academic work, receive support, and participate in Attendance Recovery when needed.
Saturday Academy Hours
8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Students participating in Saturday Academy should register in advance, arrive on time, sign in upon arrival, and remain for the entire session. Students should bring assignments, classwork, reading materials, or other teacher-directed work to complete during the session.

Attendance Recovery
Attendance matters! Regular attendance is essential to student achievement and earning course credit.
Students who have accumulated excessive absences may use Saturday Academy as an opportunity to recover attendance hours. Students with 10 or more unverified absences may be at risk of receiving No Credit (NC) for a course, even when they have successfully met the academic requirements of the course.
Families are encouraged to monitor student attendance regularly and take advantage of Saturday Academy before attendance concerns become a barrier to earning course credit.

Registration Is Required
Parents and guardians should use the Saturday Academy Registration provided below to register their student for the appropriate Saturday School session.
Students must follow all SCCPSS and Robert W. Groves High School rules and expectations while attending Saturday Academy.
We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity to help students stay on track academically and address attendance concerns throughout the school year.
